It measures the resistance of the grounding product and person to ensure the proper operation of the grounding product and connection of the grounding product to a person. The Testers four segment display provides pass/fail indication. Audible tone also warns of failures. Tests are useful for checking grounding products designed to control static electricity for the protection of electronics. The Tester can be powered by battery or AC adapter.
