The North Carolina Electronics and Information Technologies Association (NCEITA) named Static Control Components (SCC) the Electronics Company of the Year for 2002. SCC experienced double-digit growth during 2001 and 2002. Ed Swartz, SCC CEO, accepted the award at the NCEITA 21 awards ceremony on November 21, 2002. "We are deeply honored to receive this award in recognition of the efforts of our 1100 plus associates," said Ed Swartz, President and Chief Executive Officer.
SCC's ESD Products Division is the world's largest manufacturer of products that control static electricity in electronics manufacturing facilities. The Imaging Supplies Division world's largest manufacturer of products used to recycle and recharge laser printer toner cartridges.
